Welcome to

Dalgety Bay Folk Club

 

 

 

We like to think of ourselves as a friendly Folk Club welcoming members and guests to our Folk Nights.

 

We try to cater for a wide range of folk music in mainly the Scottish, Irish and American traditions.

 

While the majority of acts are bands we also invite solo artists on an occasional basis.


We encourage members and guests to attend regularly so that they can not only enjoy the music and songs but learn some new ones too.

About Us:
 Dalgety Bay Folk Club
was formed in December 1999
 


(The Yard of Ale was our first band on 3/12/1999)
 
The Folk Club's main purpose:
 
* to promote traditional and contemporary folk
   music
* to cooperate with other folk clubs and clubs with
   similar aims
 * to educate and to inform members and their
    guests in the history,links and life of Folk Music.
 
When we meet. 
We meet once per month on a Friday evening at 8.00pm from September to June.  We also have a weekend away each year.
